Clients reviews about Maine Coast Storage

I’ve used several different storage facilities throughout the country, and Maine Coastal Storage stands out by far—not only as one of the most organized and easiest facilities to navigate, with great promotions, but also as one of the most professional and kindest teams I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I ran into a few snags along the way, but Patti, who works with the Scarborough/Saco locations, was there to help in any way she could. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was taken care of. I just want to take a moment to say thank you, Patti, and thank you to the entire Maine Coastal Storage team for making the experience so much easier. Thanks again! You’re truly appreciated. ❤️ ~ Patrick H

Maine Coast Storage and more specifically the on-site manager Patti are incredible Patti is professional, kind, warm and welcoming and has such high regard and care for her customers. I’ve had personal items in storage across the whole of Portland for over 30 years but nothing has beat the few years I’ve had my belongings at Maine Coast. Patti always remembers your name, knows what unit is best for you and always has your best interest at heart. I’ve only just cleaned out my unit because I’ve moved to England, otherwise my belongings would have remained there knowing they’re safe. The facility is clean, well maintained and in a brilliant location between Portland and Saco. Should I ever return to America and Maine, Maine coast storage will definitely be my first stop upon my return. I can not recommend them enough. ~ Lynn M

I'm a frugal guy, and I wasn't excited about having to use a storage unit, since I have a garage and a basement. But my eBay inventory has taken over everything, so I had to bite the bullet and get some more space. Despite my reluctance, my experience with Maine Coast Storage has been surprisingly great. The facility is new, clean, very well lit, and my door worked perfectly. The introductory specials that they run made the price much easier to deal with. Patty (maybe the owner?) was really great to work with. I still hope that I won't need storage space again in the future, but if I do need it, I will not hesitate to go back to Maine Coast Storage! ~ Steve S

No BS.. When I got to town from out of state I was scrambling to find storge amid a tough personal time and then I found Maine Coast at the top of Saco right off the main route up the coast. The woman was so pleasant and so helpful.. she did everything she could for me then and going forward. She made all the difference in a stressful time. She will be the one taking your call too :-) Top notch clean and new facilities, indoor and out, great location, VERY secure facilities with gates and new-age passcode system. Great prices, wont find better.. look no further, i mean it. Thank you guys!! - Jimmy - ~ James O

Maine Coast Storage- Saco is hands-down the best storage experience we have ever had. Patti has gone above and beyond to assist us with our needs as our storage demands change and grow. She is professional, communicative, and beyond helpful! We're in the middle of building a new home, which is already stressful enough, but their spotless, well-managed storage units have made the transition so much smoother than we ever expected. Every detail, from the friendly service and constant updates to the unbelievably convenient location — has been perfect. We’re genuinely grateful and honestly, if I could give more than 10 out of 10, I would! ~ Valerie O

I booked a unit with Maine Coast Storage late at night from my phone, everything was easy from start to finish. The next morning, I received a welcome call from Patti at the facility, which really helped make the process feel straightforward. She was friendly and helpful, walked me through everything, explained how the facility worked, and answered my questions in advance of moving in. Overall, the experience was smooth and well organized. Maine Coast Storage made the process easy, and Patti’s customer service was exceptionally appreciated. I would highly recommend them! ~ Stephen M

This place has exceptional customer service! I rented 5x10 storage unit on a Friday, realized on Saturday that it was going to be too small, so I called to see if I could get a larger one. I was told they were closed but would take a message, which wasn't a problem, everyone deserves days off. Within 10 minutes Patty called me back and set me up with a larger unit so I could keep moving my stuff. Having somewhere locally owned is great, especially when they understand and accommodate the needs of their customers. Plus the units are new and clean! I highly recommend this company! ~ Nicole C

This place has been amazing. You have total access to your unit no matter what time of the day it is. It’s gated so there’s some extra protection so you don’t have to worry at all about your stuff. The people are friendly and helpful and there’s somebody there during the day all the time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now that I’m here. I’ve had this for quite some time now and it’s so easy to access at anytime you want. There are multiple sizes of units and they’ll have one for whatever your need is. If i ever needed another unit i would do it all over again right here. ~ Shawn Y

5 Stars I can't say enough good things about Maine Coast Storage! The facility is immaculate — everything is brand new, clean, and extremely secure. You can tell they really care about maintaining a high standard. Patty, the manager, is absolutely wonderful — so kind, helpful, and attentive. She made the whole process easy and stress-free. The 50% off the first two months made MCS not onlythe best option, also best value by far. If you’re looking for a storage facility you can trust, this is the place! Thanks Maine Coast! ~ Jennifer G

Spectacular !!!!!! We needed a unit fast. We were clearing out items from Pine Point quickly for a real estate closing. We signed up online. Linda and Patty were great. They gave us procedures in case we needed to extend. The units are brand new, drive-up- accessible, and available 24/7 with your own personal code. I really like the remote notification since I will be giving access to two other people. If you need storage, just sign up now. This is THE PLACE! ~ Kate G

The process of securing a storage unit was very efficient, and the facility is clean. We chose a climate-controlled unit for our needs, and we very much appreciate having a sliding door access. Thoughtful add-ons include trolleys to transport items, step stools that allow better access to top units, a bathroom on-site, and a friendly, helpful manager on-site as well. We also appreciate keypad entry AND exit, as well as several security cameras for extra safety. Definitely recommend! ~ Sherri G

Linda was great to work with. I set up the locker from NC over the phone, knowing that they were recently built and so close to our house. Very smooth experience. My code worked flawlessly to get in the gate. Linda recommended a locker size based on our truck and it was “spot on”. I was well briefed on their guidelines and what was expected of me. We supplied proof of “off site” insurance and these folks were great. Great experience overall! ~ David W

We moved to Maine Coast Storage with our RV after having a hard time getting in and out at our previous storage place. This facility is super easy to get in and out, nice wide parking spaces perfect for RV’s, clean and extremely professional. We are extremely grateful to find this place to keep our RV stored and safe. Would recommend Maine Coast Storage for all of your storage needs. Patty is extremely helpful! Denis ~ denis f

Recently, I moved back up here to Maine. After settling in, I realized I needed a small storage unit to put my empty storage containers. I googled Storage places and decided to give Maine Coast Storage a try. I called to inquire about any available for units, and I spoke to the Manager Tammy who was very pleasant. Tammy answered any and all of my questions and she was very helpful in making my decision to aquire a storage unit. ~ Kathy M

Patti is amazing and even set a unit aside for me when I first inquired until I confirmed the booking a few days later because it was the last one of the size I wanted. I searched around extensively and this company has everything I was looking for coming from a national chain who doubled their rent on me suddenly. Clean, 24/7 access, affordable, and secure ill recommend them to everyone. ~ Riley A

I’ve had a great experience with Maine Coast Storage. The property is clean, well maintained, and easy to access. Patti was especially wonderful -she was prompt, knowledgeable, and made the entire sign-up process smooth and stress-free. She took the time to make sure we got the right unit which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Maine Coast Storage. ~ Kendall R

Things have been great so far. I “moved in today”…… so I have technically signed up, payed checked my unit, communicated with management (in case I had problems)….. locked it up and will start my real move in to my 10x20 later in the week. Really new units in a better location than my 10x10 at another place. And the price is great. $185 for a 10x20 vs $130 for a 10x10 at my old, less easy place. ~ Douglas K

I have never seen more personable and efficient service at a storage facility before. We have now rented multiple units and parking spaces. Every step of the way has been positive in working with Linda who is as friendly and pleasant as it gets! Units are super clean and in perfect working order. Would recommend this wonderful establishment to all! ~ Colby T

Patti has been awesome during this whole process. Very knowledgeable, quick to get a response from, and is a real person who you can actually speak with, not some AI recording. Highly recommend her and Maine Coastal. Spotless facilities- you can see they take pride in their business and care about customers. Thanks again! ~ Dennis

I have had nothing but positive experiences With Maine Coast Storage. Secured access 24/7 makes storing and retrieving my items when needed safe and convenient. Office staff have been helpful with billing and changing units from outdoor to climate controlled when my needs changed was easy and efficient. ~ Joy H

I have had a great experience with Maine Coast Storage! Getting set up was so easy, the facility is clean, and best of all Patty is amazing. She made our somewhat unique (3 month drawn out) move so much less stressful than it could have been. Very happy and grateful that I chose Maine Coast Storage for this process. ~ Nicole W

My parents have a storage unit with them as well so after our 4 day move they allowed us to park our moving truck in front of their unit so that way we could load our own unit the next day! Super easy virtual reservation process as well as receiving the storage unit information and gate code VIA email ~ Emma R

Patty and Linda were SUPER helpful, patient with all my questions about storage process, and it was so easy to complete the agreement both by phone and via DocuSign, as I have never used a storage facility before. Communication throughout the entire process was GREAT, very fast responses. If you're looking for a storage place call them!!! ~ Amanda J

Caught Linda just as she was leaving to run some errands. She dropped everything to help me out and made me feel like I was all that mattered to her. She set me up with what I needed efficiently and always with a smile. The facility is clean and modern. I can’t say enough good about it. Top notch operation. ~ Jim B
